I need to design a mechanism which can do 1.5" stoke linear motion smoothly in an economic electro-mechanical way. Since this device is used to move the plastic tubing outlet, the working load is not that big. Its working duty cycle is intermittent and more convenient and economic control concept need to be considered(not like putting some linear motorized parts). The pneumatic way can not be used in this application.
