Please .. A box-like enforced concrete container for water ,the ceiling of it cracked up by the effect of water vapour..we think of removing the ceiling...would this affect the the walls of the containers not able to stand the water pressure inside the container? The container is 4 wide x7 lenght x5 metres hight,the water level adjusted not to exceed 3 metres high. |

Probably not, depending on the condition of the concrete walls. What is its thickness, condition and reinforcing structure?
Since the water depth is only 3 metres or using english units, the maximum pressure is on the bottom and is about 5 psi and pretty far removed from the ceiling structure, it should hold. |
