I have a machine that has a hydraulic cylinder 2-1/2”bore X 1-3/4” bore X 29” stroke. The cylinder is powered by a piston pump rated at 16GPM and 3000psi. The pump is turned by a 10 hp motor. With this set up, the maximum cycles per minute are 9. I want to add a conveyor to the machine. The conveyor would be driven by a hydraulic motor tied into the existing system. How do I determine what the new maximum cycles per minute for the cylinder would be? |

You will have to start with the load and work backwards. Maytag |
