I have an application with 6 holes (each is about 3mm in dia.) as compressed air outlets for cooling purpose. The supply pressure is 5 bar. The measured air flow is 20L/min. With such setting, it was too noisy. But I can't reduce it to 10L/min as the cooling will then not effective. Would someone tell me how to estimate the noise (in deicel)? What's the relation / formula among the size of outlets, pressure, flowrate and the sound level? Or is it any suggestion to reduce the sound level with such setting? Thanks. |
