I am currently working on trying to determine the necessary thickeness of a washer which will be loaded with an axial load around its outer edge and will have a resultant force to keep it stationary around its inner edge. I am not sure if this is clear but would appreciate any guidance on this. |

I believe "Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain" has formulas for this exact case. |
