Hi all, I am student of engineering design and currently I am working in a project. Part of this include the design of a XY table. I developed the concept and on the paper it seems to function well, but I don't know what kind of mathematical analysis (modelling) must to aply to verify before to build the prototype. Could anybody says me what steps are needed to or where can I find information about these kind of analysis. (I made free body analysis but it doesn't say me it the mechanism will work appropietly)
