Dear ALL
I am working on assignment of designing feed water heater with super heated steam entering shell side and leaving as sub cooled liquid. hence i am to handle two phase flow of steam going through three reigons, first reigon in which it looses its super heat and reaches the saturation temperature, after reaching its saturation temperature it looses it latent heat, once condensed it leaves as a sub cooled liquid. Now real problem is to know the relations that can give me reliable results with simultaneous two phases.as steam moves on along the tube banks and down wards its vapor fraction also changes, i am still unable to find some practical formulations that also takes in to account this phase change for heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop calculations Urgen response in this regard will really help me |
