1/2 the height of the key after the cutter cuts a full flat. This means the key way in the female and the male part added together will be deeper than the key heigth by the arc height of the key width. The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. Is there a formula to calculate the distance from the chord or flat to the outside diameter?. Thanks |

R=radius of bar distance from OD to Flat is: R-((4R^2-c^2)^1/2)/2 |
