Hello, I need an urgent help on the drawing. What does dimension RBC 1-5/8" on the drawing? What is RBC? TAP #10-24 NC 1/8" DEEP---What does "NC" mean? Hope somebody can answer my questions today, thanks much!!!

'NC' means National Coarse, and relates to the coarsness of the thread |

generally, national coarse is refered to as UNC, U meaning Unified, as in British & Canadian Standards for bolts & screws. Some draftsmen use short cuts & abv's designed for their own
kind of like my spelling------

Here is my Shot at it:
NC, Means "Numerical Control" ie, The #10 tap is to be Numerically controled to 1/8" deep. RBC, Raidus of Bolt Circle. Hope this helps. P.S. You can find a welth of info. in the "Machinery's Hand Book" regarding this and other data. Thanks, Scooter |
