I have some hydraulic questions from a pre-employment test that I need help with:
(1) The type fluid recommended for most hydraulic systems is a:
(A) Petroleum oil, B: Synthetic, C: Water-glycol, D: Water-oil emulsion

(2)Liquids transmit pressure in one direction only,
True or False

When in neutral, center valves have:
A: Ports A&B blocked, B: Ports P&T Blocked
C: Ports P&A Blocked, D: All ports blocked

Graphical diagrams are made up of ---
A: Geometric symbols, B: Cutaway views
C: Cracking override, D: Pictoral views

A solid line in a graphical diagram represents
a ---- line
A: Pilot, B: Center, C: Pressure, D: Drain

When color coding hydraulic lines --- should
be used to represent a pressure line
A: Blue, B: Yellow, C: Orange, D: Red

In color coded diagrams intake and drain lines are colored
A: Red, B: Orange, C: Blue, D: Green

These are very basic and fundamental hydraulic/fluid technician questions. Have you had any hydrualics training or education?

Personnaly, I do not feel comfortable answering these questions, as I may unintentionally help you get a job which you are not qualified to have.

I agree, those are pretty simple, straight forward questions, and if you cannot answer them... you would more than likely not be able to perform your job duties.
