I have been writing programs for a laser and plasma cutter with a "computer program" called Bobcad for about six months now. Is there any trial or free machine simulator programs that I can run my code thru to simulate the program. Bobcad will only take an arrow and point to locations, no color change to show a cut entity. Need advice Kwogfive

Awhile back, when I was looking for a CAM program, I recieved a free trial from EdgeCAM. If I remember correctly, it had every function of the full blown software except no save capabilities. This might work for you, just contact your local retailer. (that sounded kind of like a commercial didnt it? haha) |

Try asking a friendly company having such a machine if they would be willing to run your program through their MasterCam or similar CAM interface. The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |
