SELECTION OF AC DEPENDS ON FOLLOWING CRITERIA 1.AREA OF THE ROOM 2.HEAT GENERATING APPLIANCES IN THAT ROOM. 3.NO OF PERSON GOING TO OCCUPY THAT ROOM. GENERALLY-1.O TONN IS USED IN 100 SQFT AREA. NOW I TAKE YOUR QUEST.
THAN BTU=0.7XWATTSX3.5 (0.7 IS TAKEN BECOZ 26 KW WILL NOT BE
SO BTU=0.7X26000X3.5=63700 ALSO IF THERE ARE 6 PERSON THAN
SO TOTAL BTU=63700+2100+18000=83800
NOW HP=0.8TON
THIS IS THE ANSWER.I HOPE U HAVE UNDERSTOOD.FOR ANY QUERIES FEEL FREE TO CONTACT

3,413BTU/hr=1KW
Number of tons of AC=heat generated in BTU/12000. So for 26 KW # tons=26*3,413/12000 |
