I'm trying to calculate the deflection of a plate with a uniform load, more precisely a scissor lift tabletop. It has support on four points as shown on this draft: /mechanics_machines/scissor-lift.htm Looking around on this site I have found a formula: /beam_bending/beam_bending5.htm Is this the way to go? |
