I am designing a hydraulic system for a project in one of my classes and was wondering if anyone here was good with this kind of stuff and could offer some advice. Here is what I've got so far. 4 cylinders each outputing 625 tons of force
I dont really know where to go from here. I know a requirement is to use vickers pumps but I can't seem to find one on the eaton website that has the outputs required. Any hints to what I should be looking for next? Also how do I sync the cylinders together so I know they are exerting the same amount of force? any help is appreciated -Spencer |

You have several options-one of the easiest would be for a dedicated pump/motor group per cylinder with a proportional relief valve for each pump. Pressure transducers in both A and B lines interfaced with a PLC could monitor the net force. Good luck, Maytag |
