Domenick,Not being a microwave wise engineer I still think I havea simple answer worth trying in an experiment. Ithink you need to plug the space between thethread roots with a metalic substance, if I'm right. So, I would look for a metalic thread sealant orat least one that is not passive to your frequencyof wave length. Thus blocking the leakage. ... or perhaps I have caused you the think of asimilar route to take. I agree, a better class of thread fit will help but can make the screws to expensive.I'd contact some of the thread sealant/glue makersabout a product or a new product for this purpose.I have found them responsive and always looking fornew examples of ways to sell new sealant/glue products... good luck..
