Mike,I've done this too, it has been years and I nearly forgot.Most plastic injection companies use plastic in the a form that looks a lot like rice and or shot. Heatingyour tool and inserting into a cup of it doesindead result in a bonded coating of plastic, but may need some dressing. I bet you couldget a small quanity of "bead" from an injectionshop supplier of a local shop.
