Pedro,
I have a suggestion I'd like you to follow.
Go to your local bearing house (store) and ask
for a Browning gear catalog ( or catalogs).
This will answer many questions about gears
and has a very handy section in the back which
will help tremendously in the design process.
It will be quite informative, and you should enjoy
the sections.
Also, ask for a good bearing catalog (or catalogs),
you should also find a good help section there.
Most any commercial bearing supply will be happy to
provide you with these books, and they will become
an addition to your growing engineering library.
