I have some ideas, but I need to know first... Is this a school project?

I don't know where my manners are...

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good folks in here with plenty of information to share.

As this is a hobby and you are probably not looking for tolerances in the +/- 0.031" range, this method will get you very, very close. Get a blank sheet of white paper large enough that when you align the right side fuselage of the aircraft with the edge of the paper, the right side wings do not extend beyond the opposite edge of the paper. Mark a reference point somewhere along the lower edge of the fuselage and a corresponding reference mark on the paper. Trace the outline of the right side wings onto the paper. Do this as carefully as possible so as to perfectly duplicate the shape of the right side wings.

Now, take the paper you just marked with your favorite #2 pencil and flip it over and place it on a window large enough to allow the sunlight to pass through to where you can see the image of the outline you just laid down. On the back side of the paper, trace the outline of the wings AND the reference point for the mark on the fuselage.

Put the paper back on the table with the tracing side up and align the reference mark on the paper with the reference mark on the LEFT side of the fuselage. You can now check the outline of the right side wings that you just traced with the actual outline of the left side wings.

Pretty simple, huh? You basically just made a template.
