Hello 1.)How do we calculate the power required to anneal metals like Aluminum/Copper.

The general law of heating or cooling when the material does not change it´s state , as in heat treating, is as follow Q = m . eH . ( Te - T i ) where Q = power , in BTU m = mass in pound eH = specific heat in BTU / pound °F [ for water is 1 , Aluminiun = 0.22 , Cooper = 0.094] Te = ending Temperature [ °F ] Ti = initial Temperature [°F ]
