What purpose would a smaller orifice on one end of a hydraulic clutch hose serve? |

In general, an orifice may be designed into a system to slow down the flow of the fluid thru the presure / return line. Sometimes, a restriction may be indiginous to the fitting itself. Most bulkhead fittings, union or elbow fittings within a fluid system are the smallest diameter in the system. The effect of the restriction is normally accounted for within the design. Every element within a fluid system offers resitance to flow regardless of I.D. |
