Hello - New to forum and also new to a software package recently purchased for our design team. Any one familiar with this? Ant feedback on it's pros and cons?? From my vantage point, it beats the heck out of Auto-Cad!! |

My CAD software of choice. ...
Wouldn't take for it. I like the ease of design and assembly constraints. It is a bit sticky to pick an edge to constrain in assemblies at times though. My version will not do stress and strain, Mechanical Desktop will. I most like the moving parts links, impressive and has saved me many "would-be" scrapped R&D models. I no longer do a prototype. I prototype in Inventor. -randy- The worst suggestion of you lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |

Hi I Have been Using inventor since the version 6 release and have found it to be super. Many good macros and functions give us a yell if you have any problems. |

Hey, sorry it took so long to get back - very busy in the cubicle world. I appreciate the feedback - I will be attending a school in Omaha on I7 and will (hopefully) have all questions resolved. I will post again if I run into a snag and thanks for the help in advance to all. |
