I am finding that my problem is not that I can't make it so my view is correct on my assembly screen. I do need to reset my origns, (xy, xz, yz). I can't find where you need to go to reset the origin. It is not coming up right in my paper space when I am trying to get it on a sheet. Any help with this would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks Dustin |

Dustin,
In Inventor origins are a thing of the past. Here are two tricks: 1. In the model of the assy. turn some object the direction you want to to face, ground it. Now un-ground the main grounded object and constrain it to the other grounder object. Now re-ground the main object and un-ground or delete the one you used to re-direct. 2. On the drawing, use the drop down to choose the view you want and place it in the main view location. OR .... turn your model in the model file and choose "current view" in the drawing file for the main inserted view. For more info, there is a forum on the AutoDesk - Inventor web site. As I recall it is sub-divided by version numbers. -randy- The worst suggestion of you lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |
