Any body can suggest the right material for Friction drive roller? The Torque required is about 1200N. Also it is to be used for Zero Maintenance system and the expected life is to be above 10 years. The Usage is medium duty. |

RC,
don't know how much friction you need but phenolic has been used to a degree where long term wear is a factor. It is used oftern in encoder friction drive wheels where it lasts for many years. -randy- The worst suggestion of you lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |
