Good Morning, We are working on a preliminary engineering study on built a aluminum oil drilling derrick, very heavy loaded, about 1 million lb hook load. I can not find a practical engineering code to guide the work. I hope someone can help me find a Allowable Stress Design code just as Green Book (AISC ASD 9th.
