Hello; I am investigating the solutions to achieving a surface finish on plastic that is as smooth and lustrous as any metal surface. I want the surface to be compatible to ceramic and not given to chipping or fading. It would be nice if the material was homogenous throughout and controlling the material flow and temperature could give me the output I want. Strength is also desired with a maximum temperature resistance of 180 degrees F. What processes and material would be best suited for this application? How many options do I have? My experience in this area is limited. Any help is greatly appreciated! Regards CRB |
