I have a mechanical system that takes aluminum foil from a reel through some liquid into a dryer and then rolls it back up on another reel. I am having problems with the pickup reel, where the motor is mounted, keeping the foil in line where it can roll it up in a nice clean roll. It keeps tracking from side to side. Is there a system available either mechanical or electrical that would prevent this from happeing? |

Yes , you have to install what is call a "border control"
The start roll , not the motor, shall be install on a carriage that will allow a small offset in both senseof it's axis , say left rigth , and a pair of fotodiodes will order a neumatic or hidraulic cilinder to move this roll, to keep the border on it's place.
