Dear all, I have this new project designing powder cyclone. As you all know the fuction of this cylone is to separate smaller particle between large particle.

Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook has some detailed design considerations for several types of cyclone separators. I myself recently built one to separate steam from boiling salt water, and it works well, achieving steam purity of around ten parts per million.
