I plan to press fit ball bearings into drilled passageways in a pneumatic manifold to seal them. Specifically I’ll be using 7/64, 5/32 and 1/4 ball bearings in a Type 2024 Aluminum manifold. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what material and grade of bearing I should use and how much press fit? Thank you. |
