When priming a centrifugal pump which is above the source which is the best method of priming, 1. prime line connected to pump suction line or 2. Prime line connected to the disharge right at the casing exit. |

Friend, I cannot see the difference since centrifugal pumps are non-positive displacement. Probably better to have a foot valve to hold the fluid to the pump. Priming at outlet the fluid will just flow back through the pump.Cheers, Zip Zip |
