I need to design a pulley system to drop a mass at 45 mph in 30 feet or less. How do I design the pulley system and how do I show this mathematically? Any help would be great. Thx |

For starters if you want that kind of accel you most likely want a pulley above AND below to maintain tention over the pulley runs. Then you can pull the load up or down. The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |
