Hi everyone.
I realise that this question comes up a lot on the forum but i was hoping for some more focused help. I am looking to design a seat height adjusting mechanism. The most suitable i have found being a scissor lift table. (feel free to suggest if you have any better ideas). I want to design a table that has the following properties: Lift capacity about 100kg Table dimensions of 350 x 450mm Max lifting range of 120mm Minimal closed height, in the region of under 100mm Please could people help me with the design aspect of this table. I am not quite sure where to start.

Start here: /mechanics_machines/scissor-lift.htm Estimate your design mechanism, operating extension, and stability requirments. Don't forget that thier are other ways to lifts this kind of load - hydraulic, pneumatic.. |

Thanks for replying to my post but there is only so much that the equation can help with. With regard to alternative devices, do you have any suggestions? |
