Hi, I'm looking to reduce limit cycling a nonlinear relay system using a dither signal and don't know where to start being new at this. I'm simulating it using Matlab and Simulink and then practically applying it on a rig. Any help to get going would be greatly appreciated. Engineerfaceman. |

You will have to do a better job at explaining your problem to get any meaningful help.
For openers, what is a "nonlinear relay system" and what is it driving that is causing cycling? We are not mind readers, only engineers. |

K, I have a control system into which I've introducted a nonlinearity and it has resulted in Limit Cycling. I hope to minimize this affect using a Dither signal. I'd like to know how to design the dither signal for optimum effect in control of the nonlinearity. |
