Microwave and RF Design Transmission Lines
This book begins with a chapter on transmission line theory and introduces the concepts of forward- and backward-traveling waves. Many examples are included of advanced techniques for analyzing and designing transmission line networks. This is followed by a chapter on planar transmission lines with microstrip lines primarily used in design examples. Design examples illustrate some of the less quantifiable design decisions that must be made.
Microwave and RF Design Radio Systems
The book series Microwave and RF Design is a comprehensive treatment of radio frequency (RF) and microwave design with a modern “systems- first” approach. A strong emphasis on design permeates the series with extensive case studies and design examples. Design is oriented towards cellular communications and microstrip design so that lessons learned can be applied to real-world design tasks. RF systems it describes system concepts and provides comprehensive knowledge of RF and microwave systems.
Microwave and RF Design Fundamentals
The distinguishing feature of RF and microwave design is that distributed effects due to the finite delay of electrical signals must be accounted for. Sometimes this requires a design approach that avoids problems due to distributed effects. But very often these effects provide novel circuit functions that have no equivalent at lower frequencies. Distributed effects must be understood so that microwave circuits can be designed to avoid problems such as multimoding.
Electromagnetics Volume 2
This book is intended to serve as a primary textbook for the second semester of a two-semester course in undergraduate engineering electromagnetics.
Electromagnetics Volume 1
This book is intended to serve as a primary textbook for a one-semester introductory course in undergraduate engineering electromagnetics, including the following topics: electric and magnetic fields; electromagnetic properties of materials; electromagnetic waves; and devices that operate according to associated electromagnetic principles including resistors, capacitors, inductors, transformers, generators, and transmission lines.
AC Electrical Circuit Analysis A Practical Approach
Welcome to the AC Electrical Circuit Analysis, an open educational resource (OER). The goal of this text is to introduce the theory and practical application of analysis of AC electrical circuits. It assumes familiarity with DC circuit analysis. If you have not studied DC circuit analysis, it is strongly recommended that you read the companion text, DC Electrical Circuit Analysis before continuing.
DC Electrical Circuit Analysis A Practical Approach
The text begins with coverage of scientific and engineering notation along with the metric system. Also included is a discussion of the scientific method, the underpinning of our entire system of investigation and technology. From there, basic concepts and quantities are introduced such as charge, current, energy, power and voltage.
Cooling Methods for Electronic Equipment Guide Manual
Requirements for electronic equipment have been steadily increasing. This trend in demand for equipment having improved performance, decreased size, greater reliability and complexity of function is continuing.
Electronics Mathematical Modeling Handbook
This document contains nonlinear mathematical models for a number of electronic components. These models were developed for use with the TAG computer program for static and dynamic circuit analysis.
Higher Electrical Engineering
In electronics the shift of emphasis to semiconductor devices is reflected in the omission of valve circuits from large sections of the text, in favor of bipolar transistor circuits. The field-effect transistor is dealt with in a later chapter.
