Phase Transition Data for 100 Fluids
Phase Transition and other Data for 100 Fluids.
The table calculator below gives the critical data for various gases; also the boiling temperature Tb corresponding to atmospheric pressure. The study of the critical region is becoming a specialized topic. NBS Misc. Publ. 273, 1966, contains 33 papers on phenomena near critical points.
M = molecular weight
Tm = normal melting temperature>
Δhfus = enthalpy (or latent heat) of fusion
Tb = normal boiling point temperature
hvap = enthalpy (or latent heat) of vaporization
Tc = critical temperature
Pc =critical pressure
vc = critical volume
Zc = critical compresibility factor
