Description:

This spreadsheet shows the output frequency of the XR-2206 function generator chip for various standard values of R2 and C. Read R2 down the left column and C across the top row. Note that the frequency depends upon R1, R2 and C, as well as the control voltage V at pin 7. V and R1 are set as parameters in the upper left corner. They may be changed to any desired legal values and the sheet recalculated. Keep in mind that the XR-2206 requires the total current flowing out of pin 7 be no more than 3mA.

C1 helps stabilize the power supply and doesn't enter into the calculations.
