Industrial Oven Application
Industrial ovens are utilized within industry to process a wide array of product applications, such as, annealing, curing, drying, heat treatment, preheating, sterilizing, and baking. Industrial ovens may be as small as a few cubic inches or large enough to accommodate an entire aircraft. Industrial ovens may be configured with a conveyor system to continuously move articles through the oven at a know rate. Industrial foundry ovens are utilized to melt and process metals for mining, die-casting, and brazing. Often foundry ovens incorporate mechanisms allowing the oven to be positioned for optimal productivity and access. Quenching ovens are used within industry to facilitate accelerated cooling of selected materials for testing or manufacturing requirements. Industrial ovens use one of the following energy sources: propane or natural gas, electricity, steam coal, or fuel oil.
