Polyurethane Rollers Review
Synthetics, Plastic Injection Molding Design and Manufacturing
Polyurethane Rollers are used in applications requiring resistance to high temperatures, tear and abrasion resistance. Polyurethane is a great cost effective replacement material for silicon, and natural rubber.
Common applications for polyurethane rollers are high temperature thermal printer rollers, offset printing press compression cylinder and ink rollers. Other applications include wheels, casters, car wash rollers, wire guide rollers, labeling machine rollers, and more.
Polyurethane rollers are typically manufactured using a cast or mold process over the desired bushing or core. Normally some post casting or molding machining is required to ensure the roller is at the desired diameter and length.
